As Payment Labs is connected to multiple payors, it is currently not possible to change your email address directly on your Payment Labs account. However, depending on your case, it may be possible to update your email address by contacting support and requesting an email change. In this article we will cover the most common reasons for email change requests and how to proceed in these cases.

I have received payments on two or more different email addresses

If your payor has submitted payments to you under different emails, a new Payment Labs account will be created for each email. In this case, it is important to contact your payor and make sure that they have your correct email. If you wish, you can also contact our support and we will let your payor know.

Please note that in this case, it will not be possible to merge both Payment Labs accounts, this will only prevent future payments from going into multiple Payment Labs accounts.

I have been added as a recipient under two or more different email addresses

If your payor has added payments to you under different emails, but has not submitted them, you can reach out to our support team and we will contact your payor and request that they add the payment under the correct email address.

I will soon change email addresses and would like to update my Payment Labs account

In this case, you can contact our support team from your current email address and request an email change. Once the change is made, you will be able to log in to your Payment Labs account using the new email address.

Please note that your new email address cannot have a Payment Labs account attached to it, otherwise it will not be possible to make the change.

I no longer have access to my old email address and would like to update my Payment Labs account

If you do not have access to your email address on your Payment Labs account, you will need to reach out to your payor directly so that they can confirm your identity. Once your payor confirms your identity we will be able to update your Payment Labs account with your new email address.
